This paper makes a case for why philosophy would be beneficial if promoted among the subjects offered to secondary students in Aotearoa New Zealand. Philosophical inquiry form of Philosophy Children (P4C) has made some inroads at primary level, but currently very few are as subject level. is suited standalone and incorporated into National Certificates Educational Achievement (NCEA) system. been shown benefit numerous ways, including development their critical thinking.
